A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, and completing sales transactions. They also stock shelves and maintain the store’s appearance. Also handle online sales by assisting customers through online platforms, answering inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise. (Online)
Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
Answers customer’s questions about merchandise.
Assists customers with purchase decisions.
Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders.
Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
Processes returns and exchanges.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Handle Sales Inquiries online

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Track record of over-achieving sales.
Familiarity with inventory procedures.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus.
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
